CHAIM STERN

Chaim Stern is the Hennick Family Senior Cantor at Beth Tzedec Congregation in Toronto. A seventh-generation Jerusalemite born into a distinguished cantorial dynasty, he was raised in a traditional environment where he developed an innate passion for sacred music and the art of Jewish prayer. He honed his craft at the Petah Tikvah Cantorial School, studying under the mentorship of Maestro Eli Jaffe and Cantor Israel Rand. This rigorous training provided him with a masterful foundation in classical Eastern European Chazzanut while allowing him to integrate diverse contemporary influences.
